Our Staff
The AARL executive staff are are both thought leaders who have made a significant contributions to our society, including academic research and textbook design and creation. Both bring a unique set of skills and expertise to our organization.
Tom Coleman
American Kennel Club approved Canine Good Citizen evaluator (#88541). Tom works with the families of therapy and service dogs, as well as with their doctors, teachers, and caregivers.
Julie Coleman
Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed (#3164407). Julie trained at CATCH Dog Training Academy at the Saint Hubert Animal Welfare Center in Madison, NJ in positive-reinforcement force-free training methods. Julie joined as a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (#85974).
